First Horse Show of the Year

Sunday, March 2nd, was the first WWGA of the year. WWGA stands for Whidbey Western Gaming Association. Molly and I didn't practise at all for the show and our horses were very outta shape. So i was kinda worried that i would just DQ all the events. Plus Molly and I are in a harder age group this year with more people in it. We had to wake up at 7am to go get the horses ready. We got to the horses at 7:30. We loaded them into the trailer then headed to the fairgrounds. The first event was poles. Which was pretty much the hardest event. I was pretty nervus, but then really surprised when Kathy, Molly's mom, told me I got 4th place outta 30 people! I was really happy. At the end of the day, I didn't DQ any of my events! I was really proud of Foxy (my horse) because she did really good for the first show, plus we never practised. At the end of the show Molly and I untacked our horses and put on their blankets, then we were going to ride them back to the place where we board them (since it is not far at all). Liz and Justina came with us, we just rode double on each horse. Justina and I ride on my horse and Liz rode with Molly. I give Molly the look of "Lets Book It", then we both start running the horses to the fields. Justina and Liz were very surprised and started screaming and almost falling off. Justina was hanging off the side of Foxy, pulling me down with her. Luckily I pulled us back up so we didn't fall. When we got to the horses we were riding them bare-back double around the fields. Then we started running the horses around, and Molly got off Rhia to get the horse's dinner ready. So it was just Liz on Rhia and Justina and I on Foxx. Then Liz kept running Rhia really fast, and Foxy was following her and would not stop until Rhia did. I started riding up the withers, which was hurting my "down-there". I started screaming, "VAGINA!" "OWW!" Liz refused to stop. I was definatly IN PAIN. finally when she stopped i jumped off and screamed. Waddled outta the field and just sat, screaming.
Over-all it was a good day! (:

Baseball

Yesterday, March 19th, Molly, Emily, Liz, Tessa and I went to the highschool baseball game to watch Hunter (Molly's brother), and Zeke (a friend) play. At first we went to the park to play on the slides and swings. We were up there for about like 15 minutes, then decided to go watch the game. When we got there South Whidbey was batting. After a couple runs, Hunter was up to bat. We all started cheering and doing the wave. Then we decided we were the "Hunter Fan Club." After a while we got cold so we went to the car to watch the game. We turned on the radio, and was listening to music. Then the song "Hollaback Girl" by Gwen Stafani came on and we all started laughing; because Tessa told us she could just imagine all the guys on the field dancing like sluts to this song. It was funny. Goooood Day.

Couple Weeks Ago... [snowboarding]

A couple weekends ago I went snowboarding with Molly, Liz, ChrisP and PatP. Liz, Molly and Pat were skiing and Chris and I were snowboarding. It was Liz's first time up so she was skiing with my mom because my mom was teaching her. So Molly, Pat, Chris and I were all going down the slopes together. Then we were just messing around and decided to have a rance all the way down to the bottom of the hill, from the top. But it wasn't a normal race. Molly would put her ski's inbetween my legs on my board, then I would sit down on the ski's, and she would sit on the back of them. And Chris and Pat did the same thing. And to stop all you needed to do was slide the snowboard out from under the ski's and slide it up. Steering was sorta hard, but people would move outta the way, so it was all good. But twords the bottom of the hill Molly and I whiped out! I'm not really sure how though. Pat and Chris were right behind us (cuz Molly and I were winning of course), then they saw us and started laughing, then they whiped out, which i guess was Karma. But when Molly and I whiped out both of Molly's ski's came off, and my board BROKE! =\ it was actually really funny! Then we all were just standing on the mountain taking pictures with my broken board, and sledding down it. It was grand. Then we brough my board to the shop, payed $20 to fix it, then snowboarded the rest of the day. The $20 was soooo worth it.

Monday

Monday was President's Day, so we got school off. Molly and I really wanted to go snowboarding. We begged my mom to take us, finally she said ok, so we just needed to talk to Molly's mom. At first she said no, but after my mom talkto to her she changed her mind. We got all our stuff ready then cought the 1 boat. After about a 2 hour drive, we were almost to there, but then all of a sudden there was a lonnnnggg line of cars on the road. We stopped the car at the end of the line and my mom got outta the car to see what was going on. When she came back she said they were doing avalanch control so the pass was closed fo an hour. We had to sit and wait in the car for a whole hour 'til we could go to the pass. It was pretty funny though because the people in the car next to us got out and started stretching. But they weren't stretching like how normal people stretch, they were like squating down and jumping and doing lunges and doing all sorts of funny stuff. Molly and I were laughing so hard, we started taking pictures of them through the car window, (they didn't know though, of course). But then we started video taping them and one of the guys saw then they all looked over at us. It was pretty imbarressing but it was really funny. Finally the pass opened again and the line of cars started to slowly merge forward. Once we got to the pass we got our stuff ready, bought our lift tickets then we had 4 hours of really good, fresh powder boarding.

Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day is a day when you express your love to the ones you love, or like. Back in Primary School it was required you bought little Valentine's cards for everyone in your class. I used to think it was so cool. Now Valentine's Day isn't just about small cheap 99 cent cards. It's about letting everyone around you know how much they mean to you. Cuz one day they might not be there anymore. Death happens everyday, but it's permanite. That is why people are so scared of death. If you don't like your job, you can change it. If you don't like your friends, you can get new ones. If you don't like your style, you can change it. But death can't change. That's why you need to let everyone around you know how much you love them, one day they'll be gone. That's why Valentine's Day is so important.

Snowboarding

This is my first year snowboarding, and its a lotta fun! I really like it. I've only gone up a couple times this year, but I think I've learnt a lot. The first time i went up I got a 2 hour lesson. But then i sprained my wrist cuz i cought an edge and flew backwards. It healed though, so I started going back up again. I go to Steven's atleast once a week, but I think i might be going up to Baker this weekend. On Sunday I went to Steven's for the whole day, until 10 PM. I was super sore, and tired. I like snowboarding becuase it feels so cool. Just like going down a mountain on like a small skinny board. It's lots of fun.

Thanksgiving Weekend

Last weekend was Thanksgiving. We got Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday off. On Thursday, which was the day of Thanksgiving, I went up to Coupville with my family to my friend, Dianna's, house. We have gone there for Thanksgiving for 5 years in a row. The whole day all we could think about was eating dinner, becuase it is always so good, and you only get one Thanksgiving dinner a year. While we were waiting for food, we had to occupy ourselves. We ended up watching 6 movies, we played hide and go seek tag in the dark, and we made a bonfire. When dinner was finally ready we all went inside and ate. The food was so delicious. But when dinner was over we didn't know what to do.. All day we were waiting to eat, then once we did, it felt like there was nothing left to do.. We had nothing left to wait for. We ended up just sitting by our big fire that was still lite from a couple hours ago, and just told scary stories. It was a good Thanksgiving.. And I can't wait til next year!
I ended up staying the night at Diana's house. We didn't go to sleep until 4 in the morning, and woke up around noon. We were all so Freaking tired from the day before, and were too lazy to do anything. We just rode horses all day, then my mom came and picked me up around 9. When i got home I was SO tired, so i just went to bed.
The next day, which would be Saturday by now, I went to Liz's house to spend the night. We played basketball outside and jumped on the hoop and stuff. Then we took her doggy outside to play fetch with him. When we went into the garage we saw 2 electric scooters! And we decided to ride them around the neighbor hood. It was a lot of fun, but then on the way back to her house, mine died and I had to drag it all the way up a really big hill. We got back to Liz's at about 11 PM. We were still really hyper cuz we had mochas, chocolate and candy. We watched a movie, and then when her brother went to sleep, we snuck in his room and put make-up all over his face! It was really funny until he woke up!
On Saturday Liz's brother took us shopping.
